Diamantaire Steven Romain started his career as an apprentice goldsmith. He qualified in 1987 receiving the Minister’s award in the category Jewellery, Goldsmith and Diamond Cutting.

After some years working as a goldsmith, he found his passion for diamonds. Steven joined Amsterdam Diamond Cutting Works where he gained invaluable experience over the years, and completed numerous diamond grading courses.

He then formed a partnership, Diamond Trading International. Twelve years later he bought out his partner and established ROMAIN DIAMONDS.
